Partition walls / Screens

Easy to mount partition walls whose honeycomb cores allow partial transparency. A divding effect is created without limiting the architecture of the space. Satinized and coloured elements are also available. Illuminated or backlit, delightful lighting effects are created through the transparent honeycomb structure in the core of the panels.

Exhibition stands

ViewPan can be used extensively in all common frame profile systems. Partition walls, light walls, and suspended ceiling elements are only a small selection of the possible uses. A variety of design options are feasible. If fire protection is important, ViewPan PET with the B1 test certificate is used. By laminating colour foils, coloured and satin finishes can be realized.

Illuminated ceilings

The use of the ViewPan PET panels as suspended illuminated ceilings in commercial or residential premises allows interesting optical effects to be realized. The individual panels in the standard grid dimensions of 60x60cm, 62.5×62.5cm and 125x125cm can be easily mounted in the corresponding profile frame systems due to the low weight. The unusual light scattering that results from the honeycomb structure generates a pleasant room illumination.

Stage construction/shopfitting

ViewPan honeycomb panels are particularly suitable for light effects. They are versatile and can be used for large areas, can be processed easily and, despite high bending rigidity, are lightweight. They also support the lighting and are decorative, but not kitschy. In stage construction the ViewPan panels can be used as illuminated walls or with a reinforced top layer as walkable floor panels.

Interior conversion work

The possible applications for ViewPan are manifold – ranging from light-transmissive office partition walls and screens, to doors and backlit walls. ViewPan is used when transparency and an interesting light-diffusing look is required for stable, large-area panels.

Doors for interiors

Kandela S26 is a stable, lightweight and translucent door leaf with a plastic honeycomb core and acrylic surfaces. It closes the gap between wooden and glass doors. It has a similar construction to a wooden door but is translucent. Thanks to its innovative honeycomb appearance Kandela has its own personality. The door leaf is constructed in such a way that it can be incorporated as a non-rebated door leaf into any standard DIN 18111 Part 1 rebated wooden or steel frames with two-part hinges.

Lightweight

WaveCore plastic honeycombs are a high-tech core material for the production of lightweight panels. Honeycomb structures have been used for several years in furniture for stiffening lightweight components. When bonding the plastic honeycomb with the outer layer, the formation of fillet welds results in a high-strength connection. Wave Core plastic honeycombs are useful if the stiffness of components needs to be increased or a high moisture load is given.

Airflow straightener –laminar air flow

Turbulent airflows can with the help of honeycomb structures be converted into laminar, directed flows. They are therefore an important design element for the air outlets of ventilation ducts. They can also be used for wind tunnels, filters and air conditioning systems.

Properties of the honeycomb:
– no pressure reduction of the air flow
– noise reduction through laminar air duct
– corrosion and moisture resistant
– operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C
